General Fire Extinguisher Service offers a complete line of new, industrial grade Amerex and Ansul portable fire extinguishers, cabinets, first aid products, and safety equipment for all new construction.
What We Offer
Customers can walk in with their portable extinguishers and have them serviced while they wait. We are currently the only fire protection company in town that offers this service!

We offer in-house DOT hydrostatic testing and recertification for commercial, CO2, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), and scuba cylinders.
We have in-house clean agent recovery services for portable extinguishers (Halon, Halotron, FE-36, etc.).
We offer live and hands-on extinguisher training classes so that you and your employees know how to select and operate the correct extinguisher safely and properly.
Our team of licensed technicians will come to you to service your extinguishers at your preferred location. When the 12-year hydrostatic test interval is due, we offer the option of leaving loaner extinguishers and returning your fire extinguishers to you when the testing is complete.
Our technicians can help make recommendations for extinguisher type and placement as well as install portable extinguishers and cabinets at your location.
We provide product testing and other services for emergency and exit lighting.

Restaurant Hood
Our systems division designs and installs wet chemical restaurant hood suppression systems and alters existing systems.
Off-Road Vehicle
We engineer and install automatic suppression systems on loaders, dump trucks, and excavators as well as on mining equipment.
Paint Booth
We engineer and install dry chemical systems on commercial paint booths and alter existing systems.
We are Licensed Washington and Idaho State electrical contractors and NICET Certified inspectors and designers. We offer system design and installation services in Spokane County and surrounding areas (including Idaho)
These include annual inspections and repair of existing systems in Spokane, Spokane Valley, and other areas (including Idaho)
We design, install, and service commercial and residential security systems.
We offer the design and installation of internet protocol (IP) camera systems.
We handle the design, installation, and service of building access control systems.
We offer competitive monthly, quarterly, or annual rate plans with no service or term contract* for UL Listed security and commercial fire monitoring over telecommunications lines, IP, and cellular transmission paths. Our company is also an authorized dealer of AlarmNet and Telguard products.
